Finding my feet

It has been a few weeks since I finished my Priestess training, and I am beginning to find my feet. I have not yet discovered which style of spiritual leadership works best for me, but I know what kind of Priestess I do not want to be. I suspect I will gravitate towards being nurturing and supportive, as those are my natural tendencies; leading by example, gently guiding people in the right direction, and offering comfort and support to those who need and want it. To this end, I will shortly be starting a Counselling course to help me be a better Priestess and person.
I am starting slowly. I don’t want to rush into this headfirst and make a mess of things. I know that mistakes are inevitable and a part of being human, but I want to take my time and proceed thoughtfully and with love. I don’t ever want to be the kind of Priestess who dictates how people interact with their deity or deities, that isn’t my place. My place is to guide, support, educate, and comfort, to lead rituals and ceremonies, and to strengthen my connection to the Divine.
Many of you know that I am working towards the building of a physical Temple, a place where my community can gather to celebrate, worship, and learn. I am saving my own money for this and have also realised that I will definitely need help from others to achieve this goal. As distasteful as I find it to ask for money, I will be offering healing and blessing services to begin with, and I have set up a Ko-Fi account for donations. If you are in a position to be able to afford to contribute towards the Temple, I would be deeply grateful and will add you to my prayers. https://ko-fi.com/morganagreatheart
Thank you for taking the time to read my latest post. If you have any ideas of the things you would like to see from me in the future, please leave a comment below. You can also comment below if you would like to be added to my weekly healing prayers and ritual (every Sunday night).
